Perfect Skincare by Motion Medica
Motion Medica
BROUGHT TO YOU BY FITNESS BOTANICAL SKIN CARE CO. Motion Medica Skin Care www.motionmedica.com     It's obvious how great exercise is for a healthy strong body and mind. But some side effects of exercise are not particularly beneficial for your skin. When you exercise your cardiovascular system rushes freshly oxygenated blood to the surface to feed your muscles. Because of the high amount of oxygen content the bright red blood plumps up your skin making it larger and thicker. Perspiration naturally occurs to cool off your body and expels salt, oils and natural toxins. These natural functions brought on by exercise and heat can cause a variety of consequences to your skin.
Oily Skin-Oily skin becomes oilier as the salts and acids mix with sebum (natural oil the body produces) which glues down dead skin cells (keratinocytes) creating a coating akin to plastic wrap on the skin.
Acne/Pimples- tend to worsen because the swollen skin irritates the existing pimples and helps to create new breakouts which can be larger or painful.
Dry Skin - Dry skin becomes more prominent, irritated, flaky and rough due to the high amount of salts and acids deposited on the skin via sweat.
Acne Rosacea- Outdoor exercise in a humid or warm climate will exacerbate this condition causing the skin to appear more red and irritated.
Plastic Surgery/Laser Redefining- Aging skin that has been corrected by these methods must stay out of the sun to avoid new damage. Outdoor exercise with sun exposure should be stopped and exercise activity brought indoors. The increased blood flow from exercise and sun exposure will cause swelling and dehydrated skin and skin is more vulnerable to sun damage.
SOLUTIONS
For oily skin, as soon as you are finished working out cleanse your skin with Motion Medica's Dermaclenz Cleanser and rinse with cool water (not cold). Gently pat dry and apply Motion Medica's Sage & Citrus moisturizer to control oil and prevent dryness. Exfoliate once a day to remove dead skin cells with Motion Medica's AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser at post workout.
For acne and pimples cleanse with Motion Medica's Dermaclenz Cleanser or for combination sensitive skin with acne Motion Medica's  Oxygen Revitalizing Cleanser. Exfoliate with the Honey Almond Scrub and allow the scrub to set on skin for 10-15 minutes at least 2-3 times a week. Apply Camphor Treatment directly on pimples and use the Clarifying Camphor Masque twice a week. Apply the Sage & Citrus moisturizer at pre-workout to kill off bacteria causing acne.   For dry skincleanse with Motion Medica's Oxygen Revitalizing Cleanser and restore water loss with Motion Medica's Restorative Marine moisterizer. Exfoliate once a week with the AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser. For additional softness to skin's appearance apply the Peptide Treatment before moisterizing.   For acne rosacea cleanse with Motion Medica's Borage Leaf Cleanser. This will deeply cleanse the pores while soothing red irritated skin. For this skin type the moisterizer of choice would be the Sage & Citrus moisterizer before exercise and after cleansing.   For aging skin and after plastic surgery treaments cleanse with the Oxygen Revitalizing Cleanser. Apply the Peptide Treament twice a day following with the Restorative Marine moisterizer. After laser surgery it is not recommended to exfoliate especially with a product containing high amounts of glycolic acids found in the AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser. Use the Eye & Throat Bio Moist on eye and throat are. Most importantly avoid sun exposure!
Be sure to follow a strict skin care regimen with the correct products so that no residue of dead skin, oil, irritation or dryness interferes with a glowing complexion!

Ok-- had to add this little joke in.. too cute!
Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community.
The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma
complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.
Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin.
Dozens of cel ebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs.
Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.
Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers.
He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times, he still was a crusty old man and was considered a positive roll model for millions.
Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, three
children: John Dough, Jane Dough and Dosey Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart.
&nb sp;
The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

Just one more image from my shoot with Lisa Brewer.... can anyone guess how old the pumpkin is?
If you want to take a guess.. email me MO-PUMPKIN AGE and let me know your guess!

First one to guess correctly will receive a free 8x10 of their choice off the MB MALL!

Enjoy!
