FTC Delays Enforcement of Red Flag Rules...Again On November 1, 2009 - the day the government was to begin enforcement of the new Red Flag Rules on Identity Theft - the FTC announced, once again, that it is delaying enforcement of the rules until June 1, 2010 for all creditors - including ambulance services. This is the third delay in enforcement of the rules, which went into effect in November 2007. This additional delay in enforcement will give ambulance services more time to prepare for compliance. READ MORE. PWW has prepared the "Red Flag Rules Survival Kit" to help ambulance services effectively deal with the new rules. The kit is $119 and can be ordered through the PWW web site.
