PWW Remembers Jim Page Jems Hot Product 2007 Logo

September 4, 2009 marks the 5th anniversary of the passing of our esteemed colleague and founding partner, James O. Page.  We lost Jim quite suddenly on that warm September day, but his legacy lives on - not only here at Page, Wolfberg & Wirth, but in EMS throughout the United States.

Jim Page was a leader and a visionary.  He was a firefighter, an EMS provider, a chief officer, an attorney, a publisher, a state EMS director and a consultant.  In addition to being a founding partner of PWW, Jim also founded Jems - the Journal of EMS, known as "The Conscience of EMS."  But all of those titles don't completely do justice to Jim's memory, for they are merely titles.  Even though he was only 67 when he left us, he was also our industry's respected elder statesman.  His wise counsel shaped many of the country's EMS systems - and many of today's EMS leaders.

All of us here at Page, Wolfberg & Wirth are proud to be a small part of Jim's legacy, and we strive to continue his work in a manner that - we hope - would make him proud every day.  We have never forgotten - and we never will - that Jim gave this firm the most valuable thing he possessed - his name.  We will continue to try to be worthy of that name every day - in every word and deed.

We are also proud to be a part of The James O. Page Charitable Foundation, which continues to perpetuate Jim's legacy.  Visit www.JamesOPage.org
for more information.

Jim Page was our colleague, our mentor and our friend.  All of us here at Page, Wolfberg & Wirth pause today to remember his remarkable life and accomplishments.
