SALUTING OUR HEROES: Salt Lake City Luncheon
|
| |
Date: November 15, 2011
Location: Rice Eccles, Salt Lake City
Time: 12:00PM - 1:30PM
Join Utah Governor, Gary Herbert as well as current and retired members of our Armed Forces as we salute those who have served our country and those injured in service.
As the number of Wounded Warriors created out of U.S. military conflicts continues to rise (over 60,000 from 2001), existing support services are being strained by the requirements of this growing population. Fortunately, there are public and private partnerships across the country who are working together to address the needs of our returning servicemen and women.
Collectively, we enable injured members of the Armed Services to heal their minds, bodies and spirits and return home to their families and communities ready to meet life's greater challenges. We hope you can join us!
