Message from the Maestro:
Happy Holidays to all of our CVYO families! "Holiday on the Hill" at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is our focus for the Youth Orchestra, scheduled for December 11th. It is a wonderful event and is a great way to start the holiday season. This is not a CVYO function as we are invited performers and the library handles all ticket requests. For information about "Holiday on the Hill", click here. CVYO families who prefer to attend the performance only (no dinner) may purchase entertainment only tickets for $25 each by calling the Events Group Office at 805-577-4057.
Because of breaks, it is important that all students spend time with your music for the January concert during the holiday break. Our last rehearsal in December will be the 8th. After a three week holiday break, rehearsals will resume on Thursday, January 5, 2012, with only four rehearsals before the January 29th concert.
Tickets for the January 29th concert will go on sale December 1st and will be available at rehearsals through January 19th. Adults $20, Seniors and Students $16. After that date, tickets can be purchased at the Civic Arts Plaza box office.
Tickets make superb Holiday gifts. See you at rehearsal!
Thank you,
Bill Benson, Artistic Director/Conductor |

ORCHESTRA STORE OPENS IN JANUARY!
As a convenience to our families, CVYO operates "The Orchestra Store" one month prior to performances. If you have gently used performance clothing or shoes you'd like to donate, just drop them off in the lobby at rehearsal!
Looking for performance clothing? Stop by the lobby between 3:30 and 4:45 on rehearsal days in January. You'll probably find what you need for a minimal donation to the orchestras!
ORCHESTRA STORE MANAGER NEEDED FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY!!!!
If you can help, please email Teresa Donnelly at tdv@cvyo.com.
