Introducing Our New Service Mark... |

We have updated our name and are pleased to introduce our new service mark, The Art and Science of FundraisingSM.
While fundraising can sometimes seem absolutely daunting, it's really just a matter of Art and Science! Fundraising boils down to asking for the right amount, from the right person, at the right time. Using a tried and true formula ("the Science") and asking the volunteers to use the connections they know best ("the Art") this method replaces the guesswork of fundraising with a successful system that works on most every project regardless of size.
Is your organization is ready for some Art and Science? Fill out this handy form or give us a call. We'd love to visit with you about your fundraising goals. |

Congratulations to Kansas City Ballet Capital Campaign Co-Chairs Wendy Powell and Scott Francis, and Board President Mark Sappington. The $38 million campaign (including $7 million for endowment) to renovate and repurpose the Union Station Power House into the "Todd Bolender Center for Dance and Creativity" now moves to its public phase to raise the last 9% of the construction goal. With its restoration, KCB will revitalize a piece of the city's historic past and create an important symbol for the future of Kansas City and the performing arts. The new center will feature seven ballet studios, with the main studio doubling as a 190-seat theater for informal performances, KCB School concerts, choregraphic showings and use by community groups. KCB will be better able to serve the community by growing its youth and adult dance and body conditioning programs. The building will also include improved areas for production, wardrobe/costume, physical therapy, storage, artist locker rooms and administration. Completion of the "quiet phase" of this campaign allows the Kansas City Ballet to continue to expand and to share the art of dance with present and future Kansas City residents.
