Join Us for an Evening of Dinner and Jazz on Friday, February 27
We're having a special dinner and concert on Friday, February 27. This event is a fundraiser for our residential scholarship program and the first of a series of programs where we'll share the talents and accomplishments of members of our community.
Friday, February 27 7:00 pm Dinner 8:00 - 9:30 pm Jazz Piano by Ayaz Quadir
Ayaz is a gifted pianist, composer and arranger who has studied at the prestigious McGill University in Montreal. Ayaz, who was born in Bangladesh and raised in Philadelphia, has a wide range of musical influences from classical Indian and western music to contemporary jazz. He won the Calvacade Soloist Award at the American Regional Jazz Competition twice in a row. Ayaz will be playing a program that includes some original compositions as well as standards. Ayaz is currently studying at The Movement Center on a residential scholarship. This concert is one of the many ways he is giving back to our community.

Winter Vegetable Saute
Asparagus
Spinach Salad with Pear Thyme Vinaigrette
Panne Cotta and Fresh Seasonal Fruit (There will be a vegetarian option.) The cost for dinner is $25. Reservations are required for both dinner and the concert. Please RSVP to Doreen Flore by email or phone, or sign up in the lobby. Please let us know whether you'll be coming to dinner or just the concert.
Admission to the concert is by donation--please give what you can.
