Mission To Mars and Recovery
Hello,
I found an amazing video about NASA's latest mission to Mars. It is entitled "7 Minutes of Terror.' It shows how the space craft, Curiosity slows from 13,000 MPH to land gently on the surface of Mars in 7 Minutes!!!!
You may ask how can a Mission to Mars relate to my habit or addiction?
Its all about routine. One of the first things that you take on in , recovery from an addiction, is behavior modification. Doing things differently. Even the slightest change in behavior can make a big difference.
Check out the video:

How many steps or different configurations did they have to go thru to get the rover on the surface of Mars? How many steps or stages do you have to go thru to perform your addiction? Do you even know? or does it seem like that it just happens? It doesn't!!
You have a routine for doing everything, preparing a meal, driving to the liquor store or the mall, the casino, staying on the Internet all night and everything you do, you have a routine. What about procrastinating? You have a routine for doing that as well.
Are you ready to know yourself and your routines? You may think that you end up doing your habits automatically and you actually do without awareness. Can you break down your routines like NASA broke down each stage of the Mission to Mars?
Can your Mission be altered or can you create a different Mission that takes you to a different planet or outcome?
If you have any questions, please drop me an email at [email protected]
Make it a great day, they don't just happen!!
