Alum News: Ali Al-Sadoon (Class of 2006)
Graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College

Ali Al-Sadoon with his father Omar Al-Sadoon

Ali Omar Al-Saadoon is an alumnus of Al-Amal School. He graduated from Al-Amal in 2006 and was admitted into Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar (WCMC-Q) the same year. He graduated from the medical school in just six years on May 6th, 2012. Ali will be doing his residency in internal medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center starting June 2012. Ali got married to Rama Al-Baz in February 2012. Congratulations to the couple and we hope to see them back to Minnesota sometime in the near future.

PSEO Student Muhammed Uluyol Graduates from UMTYMP

Muhammed Uluyol is a high school senior at Al-Amal who has just completed the University of Minnesota Talented Youth Mathematics Program (UMPTYMP). The program provides a rigorous five-year program that begins with Algebra and finishes with Honors Multivariable Calculus. Muhammed started the program when he was in eighth grade. He will continue his
studies at the University of Minnesota in the Fall. Muhammed plans to major in Computer Science and Mathematics.
