     Mark

Mark Ziebell has had an amazing career after his time with the Singers. He auditioned for every entertainment venue he could with fellow singer/dancer and friend Donna Boorse. Mark landed a gig with the Opryland USA, where he was the first person from Wisconsin to ever work there.

Greetings!

It is hard to believe the year is already winding down. The Singers performed their last performance in Racine on May 5th and won't be back in action until July 2nd. It has been a great year and we are going to miss our graduating Seniors dearly.

Wish our student Singers luck, as we embark upon finals week. The light is at the end of the tunnel! ;)

The link below is a news article about some recent work the Singers have been up to with students who have cognitive disabilities. Wisconsin Singers, making a difference in the lives of many!

Aimee Chan- Singer Spotlight

Aimee Chan
Singers and dancers in the troupe are use to being front and center on stage. It can be hard to look behind the all the sparkly dresses, singing, dancing and choreography. But when you do, you see freshman Aimee Chan playing the keys.

Aimee has been playing the piano since she was seven years old, and then took up the violin at nine. She is also familiar with the viola and cello. She started performing in an orchestra at a young age, and has since expanded her musical talents to other genres of music. Aimee is now trying to master the bass guitar.

Plans for the Memorial Union to Undergo Major Construction

Memorial Union
The Memorial Union has always been a beloved building on campus. Every student and alumni can probably remember late nights on the Terrace or jumping off the dock into Lake Mendota. The Memorial Union has served as a place of entertainment since its construction in 1928, but is now in need of repair. The Wisconsin Union and UW Credit Union have partnered together to help raise funds for the Wisconsin Union Building Project.
