Alumni Spotlight -

Kathie Tollack  (1972- 1974)

Kathie hit the ground running right after she graduated from the University of Wisconsin. All her hard work with the Singers really paid off when she was discovered by Lawrence Welk in the summer of 1976. Lawrence Welk was most famous for The Lawrence Welk Show, which showcased musical performances that were commonly categorized as "champagne" music.

Greetings!

The Singers are very proud of some of our current troupe members who are making the news with their recent work in the "It Gets Better Project." They were part of a video that targets bullying in high schools. The Singers danced to the song Hair by Lady Gaga. This video became an instant viral hit that even Lady Gaga tweeted about it. It's worth taking the time to watch!

And remember, Valentine's Day is coming up! Be sure to do something special for the special someone. ;)

Singer Weddings

It is no secret that February is the most romantic month of the year. Every girl is ready to get swept off her feet on Valentine's Day. In order to pay tribute to romance, we are going to talk about the Singers who have already been hit by cupid's arrow. We decided to highlight a handful of Singer weddings, those Singers who fell in love during their time together. And who can blame them? We're pretty amazing.

Singer Spotlight- Alex & Abby Kennison

Alex Kennison wanted to become a professional football player when he was young. And his sister, Abby, wanted to become an office secretary. Despite their different tastes in occupations, they both ended up sharing a passion for music. Alex and Abby are both currently singer/dancers for the Wisconsin Singers. It seems music does run in the family.

Although it might be some siblings' greatest nightmare to be so closely involved with each other's personal life, Alex and Abby don't mind sharing their Singer experience.

Backstage with the Business Team

The Wisconsin Singers performers work hard to look great on the stage, but there is another group of dedicated Singers that are also working hard behind the scenes to make sure that every Singer show goes as smoothly as possible.
