Candice Kreitlow (1968 - 1972)

Candace Kreitlow was a member of the Wisconsin Singers from 1968 to 1972. "Wisconsin Singers was my entire social life," Candace says. "It was a wonderful outlet for music and definitely taught me about time management. I loved rehearsing as I found it both stimulating and relaxing. The caliber of music was excellent, and I made some lifelong friends, including my husband, Gene Hafermann.

Stars of SoulComing in 2011-2012, the 44th annual Wisconsin Singers presents, "We've Got Stars".  Including Hollywood Stars, Teen Idol Stars, Legendary Stars, and Stars of Soul, this show promises an evening of non-stop entertainment for the entire family.

New Clinic Format For Area Students!

New this year was an interactive workshop format that allowed high school/middle school students to perform side by side with the Singers in a mass number to open the Singers show. In preparation for this workshop, Wisconsin Singers learned the song "I Hear America Singing", arranged by Singers alumnus Mac Huff, with choreography by John Jacobson, also a Singers alum.   "Read More..."

 

"Double Dream Hands" on Spring Break
Double Dream HandsDo you remember playing "secret" games during shows (yes, during) on Spring Break? Well, I certainly do....

 This Spring break tour was filled with a plethora of onstage and offstage pranks that "Robin could not know were happening."  However, I want to share my personal favorite: a tribute to our own  John Jacobson  and his now famous "double dream hands" move.
