| Greetings! | A mother, wishing to encourage her son's progress at the piano, bought tickets to a performance by the great Polish pianist Ignace Paderewski. When the evening arrived, they found their seats near the front of the concert hall and eyed the majestic Steinway waiting on the stage. Soon the mother found a friend to talk to, and the boy slipped away.
At eight o'clock, the lights in the auditorium began to dim, the spotlights came on, and only then did they notice the boy - up on the piano bench, innocently picking out "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." His mother gasped in shock and embarrassment but, before she could retrieve her son, the master himself appeared on the stage and quickly moved to the keyboard.
He whispered gently to the boy, "Don't quit. Keep playing." Leaning over, Paderewski reached down with his left hand and began filling in the bass part. Soon his right arm reached around the other side and improvised a delightful obligato. Together, the old master and the young novice held the crowd mesmerized with their blended and beautiful music.
In our lives, we receive helping hands - some we notice, some we don't. Equally we ourselves have countless opportunities to provide helping hands - sometimes we would like our assistance to be noticed, sometimes we don't. Little of what we all achieve is without learning from others and without support from others and what we receive we should hand out.

Navigating Team Effectiveness Qualification Update
|
June 22, Insights Vancouver held the first ever Navigating Team Effectiveness Qualification. The Client Practitioners attending were required to have solid experience with the Insights Discovery Suite and confidence in their facilitating, coaching and design abilities.
Navigator facilitation takes the Discovery work with teams to a very deep level. The philosophy includes multiple learning touches with a team through a 6 - 8 month development process. The results are transformative. The learning pathway for the Qualification participants include:
- Pre-work: webinar, reading and assignments.
- Orientation: Full day workshop
- Customization: 4 hours of one-on -one time with a Navigator team coach to support the design and on-going delivery with their pilot team
This very talented group dove deep in the fabulous supporting materials and shared their team experiences ( both as team member and facilitator )through the lens of the Insights TE model. The intentional design of the day and the experienced guidance of Anne and Shauna enabled deep Team Learning to emerge. The shared wisdom of participants, team coaches and the power of the model blended to create a fabulous learning experience.
The word chosen to describe the learning so far ...."flawless".

October Vancouver Insights Discovery Accreditation - Final opportunity to register!

The May Insights Discovery Accreditation held last May in Vancouver filled up quickly and once again was one of the largest in North America, with new organizations accrediting and others adding additional resources within their currently accredited facilitator base.
The next IDA in Vancouver is scheduled for October 16-19 and only a few seats remain. Please look at your needs for 2013 and talk to Insights Vancouver so that you do not miss out on the October date.

Regional Conference Preview
| Mark your calendar. The Insights Vancouver Regional Conference is scheduled for Monday, December 3rd at the Pan Pacific Hotel, Vancouver.
One item on the agenda for this year's conference will be the new Insights Deeper Discovery, a revolutionary new product due for public release September 18th, which helps individuals realize their full potential and make the personal breakthroughs that lead to breakthroughs for your business. This deeper level of self-understanding allows us to explore our potential in all areas of the wheel.
If you've attended our regional conferences in the past, you know the value of this day of sharing, learning, and exploration. If you're new to the Insights Community, or have not been able to attend in the past, register now for an exciting and invigorating session with fellow practitioners, senior facilitators and special guests.
