| Greetings! | A Brand New Year, filled with discovery.
The decorations have all been put away for another year, and the turkey (or tofurky) leftovers have finally been finished. 2012 is quickly shaping up to be a very busy year, with a number of new initiatives in place. We unveiled our new branding at the regional conference this past month, along with a number of new learning and development tools you can use in your organization. If you didn't have the opportunity to attend, you can catch up on highlights from the event here.
In this month's newsletter, we're giving you a 'sneak-peek' at some of the upcoming sessions we have planned this year. So whether you're new to Insights, or you've been using it in your organization for many years, we're confident you'll find something new to help strengthen your learning and help you to grow the people you work with. For those interested in becoming accredited to deliver Insights Discovery training in-house, better register fast for the May IDA - we're already over half-filled.

Insights for Building Engagement; Workshop & Follow-up Session
| |
What did it take for Coastal Community to achieve the most successful technology conversion in their 60 year history, with no significant member impact, and higher levels of employee confidence and competence?
At the December 5th Insights Regional Conference, Deborah Edwards, Acting AVP Human Resources and Organizational Development, shared how they collaborated with Insights Vancouver to measure levels of engagement throughout their recent banking conversion, introduce the Insights engagement model to their employees using their portal system, and prepare timely leadership actions. She further commented that the Aon/Hewitt engagement survey to find the top 50 employers in Canada was conducted during their banking conversion - and they moved from 49th to 20th spot. Congratulations to Coastal Community for their continued leadership.
For further information about this project contact Bruno Dragani or Deborah Edwards at Coastal Community in Nanaimo, or Joyce Gwilliam, Insights Vancouver.
Insights Vancouver will offer a special application workshop providing a comprehensive overview of best practices for building engagement in a changing environment. Participants will have the opportunity to apply proven check-lists and leadership processes, with their own organizations in mind. Learn together on the first 2 days - and receive peer feedback on your proposed strategies on the 3rd.
The two workshop days are scheduled for April 17 and 18th, 2012 and the follow-up peer feedback session will be held May 8th.
