Strengthening Teams

A team of senior health care leaders drew on the Insights Discovery model as part of their strategy for getting the best from their team.  Recent changes in the team membership highlighted the need for refreshing their learning as a prerequisite to moving to an even higher level of effectiveness. Said one of the Regional Associate Deans "Our participation resulted in increased self awareness, better communication, a sense of shared purpose and enhanced team effectiveness."

Insights Vancouver at BCHRMA Conference

"Complexity made Simple" was the theme of this year's BCHRMA conference recently held in Vancouver, and Insights Vancouver was pleased to participate in the Conference Trade Show.  Over the course of the two day event we connected with a number of HR professionals.  For some in attendance, it was their first exposure to Insights, while for others already incorporating Insights into learning and development initiatives, it was an opportunity to learn how to leverage their past success with Insights, and take the learning to the next level.

IDA Refresh - June 8

This program is designed for Insights Discovery Client Practitioners who participated in the accreditation process more than three years ago and have a desire to 'refresh' their learning, as well as Client Practitioners who were accredited more recently but want to update their learning with the newest materials.  

This program will be customized to meet the needs of interested participants.

Helping to Handle Change
Change

When new public sector departments or branches are created, people feel the pinch of high degrees of change.  Recently, a newly formed Information and Management branch brought together people from disparate areas and other ministries and in early 2011 sought to improve employee engagement, reduce stress, and build teamwork.   

   

Discovering Team Effectiveness was deployed as a way to dive deeper into the branch culture and provided a context for aligning individual leaders.
