Welcome!
"After 9 weeks of summer it is awesome to feel the life force that is once again bubbling in our building.  It is an absolute joy to feel the energy and to see the happiness of both students and staff alike.  We could not have asked for a better start to the school year."                                                                  Russ Klein, Head of School

The school day opened with an informal assembly where Mr. Klein and Mr. Monchamp welcomed the students back and despite the early hour after a long summer of late mornings, the students cheered. The students of King David are back and loving it! Once again they have returned to school in high spirits, ready to take on every subject they encounter. We are thrilled to have a school filled with the energy and sounds of young people! By lunch time old friends had reconnected and new friends were being made.

It may only be day 3 at King David but Jordan, Eytan and Eli, Grade 8,
are already focused in Shoshi's Hebrew class
Elle, Grade 8, and Mr. Bondar working together
Gil, Grade 9, is happy to be back in the music room!

Final Retreat Information
The excitement is building ... 3 days of fun out of the classroom! A time to play, learn, strengthen friendships and create new bonds.

Please be at school for 8am on Monday - late students may miss the bus.
  1. Bring a packed lunch for Monday.
  2. Dress in your team colour
  3. Bring a water bottle labelled with your name. The camp is eco- friendly and have asked us to limit the plastic and paper we use!
  4. As space for luggage is limited, we ask that you pack carefully and use a back pack or small duffel bag. Please ensure that your sleeping bag or bedding is in a bag, labelled with your name.
  5. It has been suggested by some students that a sheet to cover the mattress is helpful
  6. Remember a flashlight - we will be doing night hikes and games.
  7. Weather permitting, the pool will be open between the end of activities and dinner.
