Just because summer is winding down, don't expect any slowdown in the number of fun and interesting things to do both at Anderson Creek Club and in the surrounding community. Every month, we like to use this space to provide an update on upcoming events over the next several weeks: EVERY SATURDAY THROUGH OCTOBER: Come to the Sandhills Farmers Market, an open-air market from 9AM-2PM where local growers sell their fresh produce and hand crafters sell their items. Don't miss it! Free health screenings, too! THURSDAY, SEP 15: Cumberland County Agricultural Fair - one of the largest in North Carolina! THURSDAY, SEP 15: Fayetteville After 5 - 6PM-10PM - Music, food and fun for all. Free admission. SATURDAY, SEP 17 & SUNDAY, SEP 18: Renaissance Faire at the Spring Lake Recreation Area. Paragon Jousting, Unicorn & Warhorse, Rides, Living History Exhibits, Period Inspired Games & Activities, Renaissance Dance on Saturday, Food and Music. FRIDAY, SEP 23 thru SUNDAY, SEP 25: 33rd Annual International Folk Festival. Recognized by the Southeast Tourism Society as a Top 20 Festival for three consecutive years. FRIDAY, SEP 23: 4th Friday in Historic Downtown Fayetteville features the arts in all forms, for all ages. Families love it. Seniors love it. Teens love it. Arts supporters love it. And once you've been to a Fourth Friday, you'll love it too! And ... the Cape Fear Regional Theater kicks off its 50th season on SEP 23. Lots of fabulous live performances to be had here!
