Dear Friend of Community Education:

Spring program registration is underway!  Learn a new skill in the Woodworking 101, Pottery, or Intermediate Photography courses.   

A sampling of spring courses is listed below.

COMPUTER COURSES 

Learn new computer skills in a small group school setting or individually in the convenience of your own home.  A Microsoft Office course is offered on Mondays & Wednesdays, March 12 - 21, 6:30-8:30pm, 150 HS South.  The fee of $95 includes a text. 

 

Also, you can learn basic or specialized computer skills at your own pace in the comfort of your own home.  By appointment for SCASD residents.   Call Community Education at 231-1062 for more details!

WOODWORKING 101 

Learn effective use of primary power and hand tools as you plan and create a simple wood project.  Offered on Thursdays, March 15 - April 26 (Excluding April 5), 6:30 - 9:30 pm, K100, Park Forest Middle School.  


 POTTERY FOR ALL LEVELS

Learn basic wheel throwing techniques focusing on two major shapes, the cylinder and the bowl.  Explore decorating, trimming, and basic glaze techniques.  Offered on Mondays, March 26 - May 14, 6:00-8:30 pm, Lower Level, Fairmount Avenue School.   FEE:  $140 (Includes 25 pounds of clay).
