Question:

What is the Strengthening Families Toolbox Training?

Answer:

Idaho AEYC, in collaboration with the Idaho Children's' Trust Fund, created Strengthening Families through Early Care and Education basic level toolbox training. Strengthening Families is now part of the QRIS and the IdahoSTARS Professional Development System. Strengthening Families Toolbox Training is based on the five protective factors known to prevent child abuse and neglect. Trainings have taken place throughout Idaho and have recently expanded to New Jersey, Utah, and Texas.
