Strive to be more

Dear Parents,

Thanks to all the fundraising efforts in 2011-2012, each classroom has received a new Epson Projector!  Teachers and students are very excited about the new equipment!  Teachers also received new computers and new software has also been purchased!   Thank you, thank you for all your support!

Also new this year is the curriculum focus on the wonderful accomplishments of NASA.  We have several assemblies in the planning stages to include a visit by an astronaut.  Classes are planning field trips and our International Fest celebrates with the theme of the International Space Station.

Due to our increased enrollment, we have also enjoyed an increased enrollment in the Extended Day Program.  To accommodate the students, our Extended Day schedule has received a makeover.  The students have been very flexible as we redesign some schedules and some spaces for all the students in Extended Day.   Information regarding the new schedules is available in Extended Day.

Please note: in order for Mrs. Page to schedule a proper number of staff members, you must register to use Extended Day.    Extended Day is a fee based program.   Expenses must be paid and the program relies on a timely payment of all child care charges to pay the expenses.  All accounts must be paid by the due date or future care may be denied.  Thank you for understanding.

Save the date: Saturday, October 13, 2013... is our annual International Fest in Lee Hall.  Plans are underway for a very exciting event!

Hope to see you there.

Eleanor McCormack

Reminders:

Hate to wait in line at Drop Off in the morning?  At 7:45 there has been little to no cars going through the line. So come early and enjoy an almost stop free drop off.
International Festival

If you are donating a basket or an item for the raffle, please bring it to the STM school front office by Friday and we will pick it up.
Plan on joining more than 300 attendees for "Out of this World"  fun and enjoy food from all over the world! Entrance fee is ONE DISH or DESSERT from your US State, Country, or Continent of origin to serve 8-10 people.
Win an IPOD Touch, Lego Space Shuttle Expedition, Nook e-reader, American Girl of the Year - McKenna, or new American Girl Caroline. Raffle and cake walk tickets are $2 per ticket or $5 for 3 tickets.
