Top 5 Cycling Destinations
By Rachel Wall, Member Services Representative
Myself along with one of my co-workers, Crystal have had the privilege of first hand experience in the following cycling destinations. From around the world, these destinations are among our favourites, and we would not want our Discovery Club members to miss them.
1. Provence
With the Tour de France having just finished, we thought we would start our biking excursions in Provence, the lovely region of southeastern France.
Pedal Provence's southwest corner weaving through the cobble stone streets and limestone peeks, through town markets, and into the quiet countryside. At night kick up your feet while enjoying a beautifully prepared dinner made with fresh local ingredients. Rest in the regions premiere Inns, enjoy sipping on Provence's most coveted wines, and experience France's astounding History.
Backroads Provence Biking Tour
2. Italy
Why not treat yourself to some Italian countryside, otherwise known as the rolling hills and sun drenched vineyards of Tuscany.
On this yielding bike trip, stop and smell the cappuccino while riding past the famed vineyards of Tuscany. Discover renaissances, palaces and churches, and sample savory pecorino toscano cheeses. If that isn't enough, learn the secrets behind Tuscan cooking with your very own culinary lesson!

I have traveled or lived in over 25 different countries worldwide. My first major trip took me to Australia where I lived there with my now fiancé. We spent many months scuba diving, camping, hiking, and getting to know the true Australian culture. From there we travelled to South East Asia, where we explored Singapore, Vietnam and Cambodia.
Europe caught my eye next where this time I travelled solo for a month and backpacked through England, France, Netherlands, Italy, Slovenia and Croatia.
