Greetings!
With February being the month to celebrate love and romance, we thought it was fitting that we write about the ultimate City of Love - PARIS!
Its name comes from the Gaulish tribe, the Parisii, who founded the city in the 3rd century BC before the Romans, led by Julius Caesar, arrived in 52BC and renamed the city Lutetia. But that name didn't stick and it soon reverted back to being called Paris once again.
Today, it is commonly known as the "City of Love" and is the most popular travel destination for honeymoons and romantic getaways...and for good reason! Take your pick of perhaps a romantic stroll through ancient gardens, or a picnic of wine and cheese in a beautiful park, or savouring the moment and the flavours of Paris' many world-class dining experiences.

The fall and winter season has been extremely busy for the sales team as we have been "taking our show on the road". We have made visits to Calgary and Edmonton monthly since October, and for some variety we have recently made stops in Red Deer, Saskatoon and Regina (and yes, it does take a significant level of commitment for us west-coasters to plan a visit to those cities in the dead of winter!).
