A WINNING ATTITUDE

Your ATTITUDE at any given time in nothing more then your ACTIONS that are being driven by your THOUGHTS and FEELING. When you align your THOUGHTS, FEELING AND ACTIONS to attain your GOALS, you will have a WINNING ATTITUDE.
In past COLADAS, I wrote: 'that you either create or allow everything that happens to you' and 'that thought a lifetime worth of events our brain actually learns what to expect NEXT-whether it happens that way or not (this time) therefore what we expect or anticipate we get more offend then not.'
If you are reading my COLADAS or any books to improve ANYTHING, then you should have a GOAL. The problem sometimes is that we don't look at it as a means to reach a GOAL, but just a book to read or a tape to listen to, and we fail to get anything from it.
To have a GOAL:

You must know were you are right now.

You must know were you are going and
in what time.

You must have a written plan on how to
reach your goal.
I now weigh 270 pounds and I want to only weigh 220 pounds by 10/25/2010. that's 93 day to lose 50 pounds or 0.5376 pounds per day. This is a GOAL, and if I were to follow it every day then I can not help but lose 50 lbs.
On the other hand, I now weigh 270 lbs and I want to weigh 220 lbs by 10/25/2010 and I keep buying cook books and watching BIGGERS LOSES and....YOU GET THE IDEA. This would be insanity, "insanitary is doing the something thing over and over and expecting a different result."
Your body is the instrument of your mind, therefore your mind plays the actions of your body. Your mind told your hand to put that BIG PIECE OF CAKE IN YOUR MOUTH, you mind TOLD YOUR BODY TO STAY ON THE COUCH AND WATCH TV both actions made you FEEL GOOD. Therefore you keep on doing them.
Here is where we have a problem, your Subconscious Mind, MUST ACCEPT WHAT EVER YOUR CONSCIOUS MIND TELLS IT. IT CAN NOT DETERMINE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THAT WHAT IS REAL OR WHAT IS IMAGINED. IT JUST DOES WHAT IT IS TOLD. This is also the GOOD NEWS.
One of the MOST IMPORTANT THING IN YOUR LIFE IS FOR YOU TO CHOOSE YOUR THOUGHTS VERY CAREFULLY and to be VERY AWARE OF YOUR ACTIONS. You want your ACTIONS, THOUGHTS and FEELING TO BE IN HARMONY with your GOALS
What action can a person that weigh 220lbs do, that a person that weigh 270lbs can't, how would I feel and look 50lbs lighter. Since my subconscious minds does not know the difference, then MY THOUGHT, which are under my control will tell my body to act and do the things that a person of my weight of 220lbs is doing as a part of my over all GOAL TO WEIGH LESS.
When a report asked Ty Cobb at age 70, "What did he think his batting average would be today" (his lifetime batting average was 367) Ty answer, "about 290 or 300." The report asked, "if this was because of night games more travel, artificial turf, new pitches like the slider." Ty looked him in the eye and said, "NO, IT'S BECAUSE I AM SEVENTY." How's that for a WINNING ATTITUDE.
The only way to improve your life is reaching for and achieving worthy GOALS. And to do this you MUST TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ATTITUDE, and make it a WINNING ATTITUDE.
