     You, Inc....Have you ever thought of yourself as a BUSINESS?IF NOT, WHY NOT? Like a business, you have to sell something to make MONEY, If you do not think that you are selling something, try not doing any work on your job and see how long they will keep paying you. You have to take care of customers, (your boss, the better half, kids, etc) just like a business. If you DO NOT TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS SOMEONE ELSE WILL.

     You have to pay supplies, employees, taxes just like a business (they pay less taxes) Just like a business, if you DON'T like the services you are getting from them. you fired them. You get your supplies from another store, your car fix somewhere else, eat somewhere else, have another person cut your grass or clean your pool. By not giving your MONEY to that person, you have FIREDTHEM. Do you see that in one way you are like a business? 

     Let's look at any business, big or small, and you will see that they all (and YOU,INC also) HAVE to do four things to stay in business. Any business that does not do these things will go out of business, no and if's or BUTS.

     All business has to have a finance dept, a research dept, a production dept and a sales dept. If they do not have a finance dept, they would not be able to get the money they need to operate or use the money they have in the best way for the business.

     If they did not have a research dept, they would not know what to make, when to improve it. Non would they know what price they could get for the goods/services they offer. If they did not have a production dept they would not have any thing to sell. And without a sales dept, how would they get what ever they produced to the market.

     Now a business must have, someone that is the boss, the CFO, CEO, PRES.,etc. Then it may have other people to handle the other three parts of the business. If you are a small business you may have someone to help you with them. And all business has share holds.

     All business operate from and are in business for one thing and one thing ONLY, and that is to make MONEY for the share holds, PERIOD. Having this understanding or why the business is in business, you see why it must be very good in the four areas, or they will go out of business.

    Let's put YOU, INC. in operation now. You are the BOSS, you get to call yourself by any title you want. You are also a share holder, and if you have a better half and kids they too are share holders.

     If you do not like what you are selling you can go back to school to learn something else and then sell that skill. You can move your business to a better area, where there is more of a demand for your produced. You can get into a new line of services or add other services, or get more customers. Just like a business.

     Just like a business your financial dept, has to be on the look out for the best way to spend and invest the business' MONEY. It it finds that it has to borrow MONEY, it should be looking for the best deal it can. It also has the job of putting MONEY back into the business so that the business can grow, do thing better and faster, etc, because if not. then someone else will take your customers from you. Remember that you can be fired from this JOB ALSO.

     Let me give you another LAW like the one's that I have given to you before. Like those other ones, this one always works too. This LAW tells' you that a body in motion, will stay in motion until acted on by a outside force. Keep in mind that all thing in the universe are moving,

     What this means to you, is that if you or any business that is doing bad, will keep doing bad unless acted on by a outside force. If you are doing good, you can not sit down or stop moving. Every thing is moving and if you stop you will then be going backwards.

     OK, Jack, but how does the research dept help? Well let me say this, you have only two areas that you have to do research on, and that is the present and the future. You need to know that what and how you are selling your services, NOW is the best way to get the job done NOW. If not, you need to make a CHANGE NOW.

     Then you have to look at were you and your company is going to be in 5,10,15,20 and more year from NOW. What must you learn that will be new? What new skills will you need and how and were will you be able to selling your services. Ask yourself this, how many BIG or SMALL company's have you watch go out of business?

     Now would you say that a company would like to grow at 10% a year, or to put it another way double in about 8 year. Yea that would be great, but it hard for a company to do this as it gets bigger it is even harder.

     This is one of the area that you can rock. You can not only grow YOU by 10% a year, you can grow yourself 100% in 30 days. If you are in sales and you have to call customer, how much more could you grow your company if you made 5 more call a day? r is you made calls on your day off?

     What if you were to read 5 books a month, about business? Most people stop reading when they get out of school. How about learning a new skill or language or go back to school. Would this not make you worth more money to YOU.INC.

     Why not go back and read and putting into practiced the idea in the COLADA, THINK?

     Let me ask you this, What is your business worth RIGHT NOW? How much would anyone be willing to pay for a share in YOU.INC?After reading this I hope that you are not like the guy sitting in front of the stove, YELLING give me heat without be willing to put in any wood first.
