THINK

"All the resources we need are in the mind."

Theodore Roosevelt

Brain researchers estimate that your unconscious data base outweighs the conscious on an order exceeding ten million to one. This data base is the source of your hidden, natural genius. In other words, a part of you is much smarter than you are. The wise people regularly consult this smarter part. From How to Think Like Leonardo da Vinci by Michael Gelb.

Way back in time all people had access to all the knowledge and wisdom of the GODS. But time and time again they ignored this GREAT GIFT making the gods mad.

One day the gods grew tired of the people not using this GREAT GIFT and got together to take it away from them. After much talking and give and take, it was decided that this GREAT GIFT of PRECIOUS WISDOM, would be HIDED, so that only those committed seekers would find it.

The gods believed that if people had to work to find this GREAT GIFT, they would appreciate it more and use it WISELY. So they set out to find a place to hide this GIFT from the average person.

One of the gods, made a suggested that it should be bury deep in the earth. No, said another one, to many people would be able to dig down and find it.

Another one suggested that it should be put in the deepest part of the ocean. But this was not a good idea, because they know that someday man would learn how to dive to this depth and would find it.

Still another made the argument that it should be put on the highest mountain, were surly it would not be found. This to was rejected because man was already climbing smaller mountains and it would be only a matter of time before the highest ones would be climbed.

Finally one of the WISEST god said, Let hide it in a place were they will not look...DEEP INSIDE THEM. They will never think to look there...and so it was done...and it is still true today MOST DO NOT LOOK AND, THEREFORE DO FIND IT.

Let's take a look at how much time you have to do things. There are 168 hours in a week, if you worked 40 hours and sleep 40 hours, you would still have 88 hours to do other things.

Now if you were to use 1 hour a day 5 days a week to do nothing but THINK, you would still have 83 hours for the other things. This is were this becomes so GREAT, if during this time each day you could think of 20 ways to do your job better, or 20 ways to save or make more MONEY, help/fix your relationships or 20 ways to solve a challenge you had, that would be 100 new ideas each week.

Now some of them would not do anything to help you or would be just no good at this time, but if you spend 1 year on one challenge, that would be over 5,000 ideas. Do you think that this would make a difference in your life?

THINK about this, when Thomas Edison was asked how he felt about failing over 10,000 times, he said that he had not failed at all but had found over 10,000 thing that would not work. Oh, some of the so called failures were in them self used for other things he was working on.

Now when should you find the time to THINK. This would be up to you. Some people like to get up before everyone and do it with a cup of coffee, others like to do it before they go to bed, so that the brain can work on any ideas they have when they sleep.

What ever time you pick is OK.But what you do is the HART of this SECRET. Get a clean sheet of paper and write on the top, as clear and in as much detail as you can, just what you want to THINK about or the challenge you want to fix. After you have this written down, take several deep breaths, and close your eyes and just THINK on any way you can fix it. Then start write down any and all ideas that come to mind.

Write down every idea, even if after you THINK about it you feels that is dump, or will not work, JUST WRITE THEM DOWN. Your GOAL here is to get 20 or more ideas on paper. After you do this you have to be ready for the mind to give you some more answers, so keep paper and pen with you at all time to write down any ideas that will come to you. Or get a recorder.

You must also keep these papers in a place were you can go back and look at them, maybe once a month. Spend a few dollars and get yourself a few three rings loose leaf folders. Write THINK on them or what ever you want.

Five years from now, you will have a great collection of IDEAS. THINK about what you will have in 10, 15 or 20 years. Remember that 1 ideas made the light bulb, the car and just about everything around you, and 1 idea could be WORTH A MILLION DOLLARS.

This was how Edison solved some of the other challenges he face. He had found that sometimes when thinking on ways to fix this challenge the mind gave him ideas for other one he was also working on.

This is the why you write down all ideas that you get, the why you have pen and paper or a recorder with you at all times. Your mind will work on any and all challenge you give it. But sometimes the answer may not come to you for a week or longer.

Is this going to be easy, NO, if you are doing this very early in the day your mind will wanted to be back in bed. If you are doing this at night it will be telling you that you should be in bed or watching TV. BUT YOU ARE IN CONTROL.

How will this help you, you ask? Do the math, If you spend 5 hours a week THINKING, that is 250 hours a year (taking off 2 week for a vacation) that would be over SIX 40 hours work weeks. Do you not THINK that you could solver some challenges if you worked on them for SIX WEEKS?

Does this work? YES. This is what Albert Einstein has to say on this, "The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will, and the solution comes to you, and you don't know how or why"

ARE YOU AN AVERAGE PERSONS OR A COMMITTED SEEKER?
