Fall 2012
Message from the President

I would like to thank all those who participated and contributed to our annual golf outing. Overall, this year's outing was once again tremendous success - friends and acquaintances were able to reconnect for a great cause in helping to raise money for current athletes. A special thank you goes out to Tiffany Hogya and Anne Graffice in the Office of Alumni Relations and University Activities for bringing everything together and helping keep everyone cool and hydrated with the record heat.

M Club is now preparing for the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony held on Saturday, October 27. All M Club members including former teammates of those inducted are invited to attend. Details are available online. Also, if anyone has any suggestions on how to make this a more memorable occasion, please bring your thoughts and ideas forward at our next meeting on September 20.

I would also like to highlight some recent investments that the M Club has helped make possible:

  • Annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony
  • Windows for the baseball press box
  • Two javelins for the track team

Finally, we are always looking for more involvement from alumni. Please feel free to reach out to me with any thoughts or ideas on ways to provide additional support to the athletic programs. Again, all members are welcome to attend our next scheduled meeting at 7 p.m. on September 20 in the M Club Room of the MAAC.

Go Raiders!

Sincerely,

Bill Borchert '98

M Club President
