Affirmations Create Your World
Whether you realize it or not you are affirming everything that is going on in your life right now. The dictionary definition of the word affirm: To declare positively or maintain to be true.
What are you declaring or maintaining to be true every day through your beliefs and values? Is it for your highest and greatest good and the highest and greatest good for others?
Start with these steps:
- Self Talk- Everyone uses self talk even if they do not realize it. Listen closely. What is the message you are feeding yourself everyday? Can you improve it? If so then replace the message you tell yourself with a better one and repeat it daily for 1-3 weeks. You will notice the change.
- Share- With your significant other or trusted friend. Tell them what you are affirming in your life and why is serves your highest and greatest good. Sharing is yet an other form of affirming the life you want to lead.
- Be Aware- When you go about your day, be aware of your messages to yourself and others. Keep your affirmation close in your mind and set it as your default thought. Soon, your customers, co-workers, employees, family and others who surround you will pick up on the positive changes and begin to reflect them back to you through their behavior.
