Get Out!
Seriously, get out. Get outside at every opportunity breathe, walk, enjoy nature and take a break from the distraction of thought. We are products of our environment. That being said, it is important to be aware enough to change our environment from time to time. It can be as simple as getting out of the office for a 15 minute walk, an early morning run or just being in the yard for a few moments everyday. Enjoy the rain, snow, wind or sun equally and allow it to cleanse away your pressures and stress. Notice the world at work outside of your normal environment. Everything in nature moves along without a care in the world. This is our life model. As human beings we are to busy doing most of the time to recognize this as fact. You can reverse this trend by taking a break from doing, and focusing on being, a few times a day. Use these periods to focus on gratitude. This will bring you more appreciation for who and where you are right now.
