2012 Quick Reference Guide

The Chamber has an advertising opportunity open to all Chamber members for our 2012 Quick Reference Guide.  This guide will be mailed to almost 20,000 citizens in Kandiyohi County and the idea is for people to have a quick guide if they are looking for a phone number to a local business.  The guide that can be placed on the car visor, next to the computer or on the refrigerator.  It will be exclusive to Chamber Member Businesses only as it will list your contact information on the inside under specific headings like restaurants or legal as an example.

Advertising costs are as follows:

* 2 x 3 inside fold ad - $750 - Only 6 ads available

  (includes free 1.5 x 1 back page ad - $125 value)

* 1.5 x 1 back page ad - $125 - Only 12 ads available

~ Volunteer Opportunity ~

The Buy Local First Task Force is in the planning stages of organizing an enhanced buy local campaign that was created in 2011.  Buy Local First is a community wide partnership of the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Willmar and the Kandi Mall Association to raise awareness of how business and consumer spending affects our local economy.

If you are interested in helping to support our local Willmar Lakes Area, contact Gary Laughlin at Print Masters, 235-8055 or via email at gary@printmastersofwillmar.com or Ken at the Chamber, 235-0300 or via email at kwarner@willmarareachamber.com.  The task force meets several times a year on Thursdays from 4 - 5 p.m. at the Chamber as needed.
