Leadership Perspectives Logo

Leadership Perspectives is a dynamic and educational leadership training experience sponsored by the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber with financial support provided by the City of Willmar, Kandiyohi County and the Mid-Minnesota Development Commission.  The leadership training program will begin on September 8th with an orientation and concludes with a graduation ceremony May 19, 2012.

Whether you are a native of Willmar, or new to the area, Leadership Perspectives is the training tool for you.  If you have been active in community activities and wish to enhance your leadership skills or are just contemplating your community involvement, Leadership Perspectives could be the "starting point" for you.

Leadership Perspectives, now entering its 20th year, will be an opportunity to learn more about...yourself, team building, leadership skills, the history surrounding the Willmar area, economic growth, local social service organizations, educational trends, important issues facing our local government, business technology and opportunities to become involved in community and Chamber projects that interest you.

To those company leaders who are seeking community leadership training for their employees, this is an excellent opportunity to discover the resources we have available in the Willmar Lakes Area.  Alumni from Leadership Perspectives will inform you about friendships, networking, training and experiences that have had an impact on both their professional and personal lives.

Register early as the class does have a maximum number of 35 participants.  Brochures are being printed and will be mailed soon.  If you would like more information about the program or would like to register, please call Diane at the Chamber office at 235-0300 or email doleary@willmarareachamber.com.
