We would like to wish each of you a Merry Christmas as we celebrate the birth of Christ.
Our first emu egg of the 2011/2012 season was laid on November 15. Then on November 16, the youngest daughter delivered a son into the family. Mother and child are doing fine and all the grandparents are beaming.

2011 is drawing to a close and it has been a very busy year here on the farm. At the present time a brooder barn is being errected for the emu chicks and for the chickens we raise in the summer. The building as seen in the picture is not yet complete. You can follow the progress on our Facebook page.
