Dry, itchy skin is a nuisance that plagues many of us. This only seems to intensify during the winter months. We turn on the heat, we wear multi-layered clothing we don't sweat due to cooler weather and with less exposed skin as with summer clothing we tend to moisturize less often.

This was the name of the majority of you that submitted names but this was not the reason for chosen. Dee discovered before she saw the selection of names that Sept 30th was the 50th anniversary of The Flintstones and that it must be fate that the name Betty had been submitted.
The second most submitted name was Thelma Lou - Barney Fife's girl friend on the Andy Griffith Show.

We are finished raising chickens for 2010 with the last of them processed on the 29th of September.
