Chickens less than a week old | Hello from 4 D Acres
200 day old chickens arrived on May 5 and are growing fast. Already out on grass they are gaining weght quickly. We have an appointment with the proscessor on June 25 and they will be ready for sale a few days later. We are looking forward to a meal of pan fried chicken.
Also that week we were busy hatching emus. What a joy watching new life here at 4 D Acres. They are also out on grass in the pen that they will stay in for next two months before they are turned out on pasture.
Dee has had her surgery. She is getting better every day but it will be a while before she can resume full chores. Our sons have come back home to help with some of the extra chores that needed done. Also the neighbors have been by to help Dee and check on her when Mike is at Markets.

Psori-Care II |
This cream acts like a therapeutic balm by moisturizing the skin and reducing the itching, redness, and scaling associated with many stubborn skin conditions. 4 oz jar.
I'm 20 years old and have had psoriasis for about 7 years. I never found any lotions that would make my spots stop itching until my dad found this product about 3 years ago. It makes my days go by a lot better because I don't have to worry about being uncomfortable and itching all of the time. It has even helped clear some of the spots where I use it twice a day. I don't use any other lotions for my psoriasis now.

Mike's Story
Brown Recluse Spider! are limited to a small area of the United States of which we just happen to live in. We know these spiders live here on the farm and we have killed a lot of them with glue boards.
One Monday morning in early May, after getting orders out and mailed, I went out to the barn to sort through some scrap wood to decide which was worth keeping and the rest to get rid of. I had gloves on as well as a long sleeve sweat shirt because I knew there were spiders of all kinds in the barn. Their bite is painless - I did not even know I had been bitten. Some time after the bite, the area started to itch so when I got up at the house I applied some emu oil. This soothed the itching but the area became inlamed and bubblely on the skin. Dee suggested I use PRID, a drawing salve alone with the emu oil (as the emu oil was controlling the swelling and the itching). The bite occurred on Monday and Friday I decided to see our family doctor. He confirmed it was a brown recluse spider bite but the only thing he could suggest was a cortizone cream that he would have prescribed if I had come in the day of the bite. Considering that it was doing well with the treatment I was using he told me to continue treatment and only fill the prescription if the condition worsened.
It continued to get better and today it is hardly noticeable as to where the bite was.
