Proposed Warehouse Receipt

MGEX is pleased to share with the Apple Juice Concentrate (AJC) and cold storage industries the proposed AJC negotiable warehouse receipt to be used for delivery on the AJC futures contract.  In designing the receipt and its terms and conditions, the AJC project team received input from the cold storage industry.  MGEX was asked to consider the terms and conditions of the warehouse receipt widely used by the industry when drafting the negotiable AJC receipt and designing the delivery process.  The cold storage industry has created an efficient, workable procedure for the storing, handling and loading out of AJC which has been used successfully for more than a decade.  Consequently, MGEX has tried to incorporate much of the industry's current practices.

We invite you to view the proposed negotiable warehouse receipt, its terms and conditions and offer your comments via email
