Information for Potential Cold Storage Facilities MGEX is developing a risk management tool for the Apple Juice Concentrate (AJC) industry. Part of this effort includes identifying potential U.S. East Coast and West Coast cold storage facilities with the ability to store AJC and an interest in becoming a certified delivery point against the futures contract. MGEX is already working with management teams from several cold storage facilities who have expressed an interest in becoming certified delivery points for AJC. However it is important we do not exclude any warehouses interested in certification and able to meet the minimum requirements. Should you or the cold storage facility storing your product be interested in becoming certified, an application process is in place and full cooperation is required for consideration. However, it is important to note MGEX will make all final decisions on warehouse certification based on a number of criteria, some of which is listed below. |
