MGEX is pleased to announce our anticipation of a Federal Register notice and request for comments from the USDA's Farm Service Agency (FSA) next week.  FSA proposes adding processed agricultural products, including apple juice concentrate, to the list of agricultural products for which warehouse licenses may be issued under the United States Warehouse Act.  Such licensed warehouses would be able to issue federal negotiable warehouse receipts.  FSA will be seeking industry comment on a series of questions and MGEX is encouraging all interested parties to respond to their request for comments.  Please look for another MGEX email once the proposal is released detailing how you can view and comment on the Federal Register release.
