Scott Holt became the new owner of Digi Pix Signs Inc in 2009 after a seventeen year career in technology as an electrical engineer and sales & marketing executive. Digi Pix Signs, Inc., a Windsor business, is a sign design and manufacturing service provider. Services include sales and marketing coaching, design and color ideas,  and custom sign design.

Scott began working with the SBDC in 2007 to develop a business plan. He was looking for additional coaching in regards to employer responsibilities, networking and small business management strategies. Scott's business counselor, Dick Pickett, helped him identify areas of small business management to improve and locate sources of research and expertise to build Scott's business plan.

 

Digi Pix Signs, Inc. is now focused on growth by increasing annual revenue by 30% over the next three years, adding one corporate customer every month, enhancing visibility of Digi Pix Signs, Inc. by sponsoring community activities, and adding employment opportunities to those interested in being part of the Digi Pix family. He hopes to accomplish these goals by continuing his relationship with the SBDC and leveraging his experience in marketing and account management.

 

An area of business management Scott established early was customer service. "This is not rocket science. I really do believe that if you take care of people, work to understand their needs, deliver a product that satisfies those needs in a timely manner and at a fair price, they will come back."
