SBDC Impact in 2009
The Colorado Small Business Development Center (SBDC) recently published the 2009 Network Annual Report, highlighting the accomplishments of SBDCs across the state of Colorado. Our center is excited to share the success of its clients this past year! With NEECCO SBDC assistance, small business clients reported being able to:
Create 108 new jobs Retain 27 existing jobs Start 27 new businesses Increase sales by $93,000 Form $9,943,505 in capital
The Northeast-East Central Colorado SBDC worked with 430 small businesses in 2009. In addition to business counseling services, the SBDC hosted a variety of training sessions in which over 1220 members of the business community attended. |

Business in Action!
The Northeast-East Central Colorado SBDC and the Greeley Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce the 2010 Business in Action Event, an all-day forum for the Colorado business community. The event, scheduled for June 24, 2010, has been designed for professionals from companies of all sizes in all industries across the state.
The Business in Action Event will feature keynote speakers Greg Lopez, Colorado District Director of the U.S. Small Business Administration, and Don Marostica, Director of Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade. Both plan on addressing the current business environment in Colorado, related initiatives, and forecasts for the coming year.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to attend four of twelve workshops offered throughout the day. These classes will focus on business fundamentals, government certification processes and marketing strategies. A complete list of the classes available can be found online.
Members of all Colorado Chamber of Commerce are being offered a significant discount on the event registration price. Chambers of Commerce throughout Colorado provide generous contributions to the SBDC network. The price discount for Chamber members is a way to support them in return.
