 DEAR JABBERS: Those of you familiar with the Jewish holidays know that we are right in the thick of the busy season. In my house this means a lot of celebrating and family time which is always a good thing. It also means a lot more preparation - making traditional meals, readying the house for company and keeping my preschoolers occupied during what seems like a million days off from their regularly scheduled programming.
Between starting my new job at JAB, holiday festivities and added kid-centric activities, the past few weeks have been a bit of a blur. I've been fortunate to receive wonderful notes of support and encouragement from you, my fellow JABBERS. So many of you were kind enough to reach out and welcome me to JAB and let me know you're happy to have JAB Ft. Lauderdale back into the fold.
(And I'd like to thank the City of Miami for having a Buy One Get One free deal this month that includes a lot of places for me to take my kids. Details below.)

Looking for a Doggone Good Pet
We are looking for a medium-sized family dog that is good with children and does not shed a lot. A few breeds we are considering are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Australian Shepherds and Goldendoodles, but we are open to suggestions.
