Help Us Make Great Strides Towards Curing Cystic Fibrosis
Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's nationwide 5K walk. This event will help raise funds to help support life-saving CF research and care. It's a fun 3 mile walk with Kids' Corner activities, food and festivities. This year's Fort Lauderdale walk will take place on Saturday, April 21st at 8am at the Sheraton Ft. I've been a classroom teacher for several years. Although I love what I do, I'm at a point where I want to try something new. Some of the ideas I've tossed around are working for a publishing company, becoming an advocate, and/or a private tutor for parents that want to home school their children, but don't feel comfortable teaching themselves.
