Friday marks Veteran's Day. Many of you will enjoy a three day weekend, but I hope you will remember that Veteran's Day is more than a holiday. It is a time to honor those men and women who so bravely serve our country everyday. It is celebrated on November 11 to commemorate the anniversary of the end of the WWI, which ended on the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918.
I am proud to have a father who served in the Navy and a brother who served in the Air Force. I offer heartfelt thanks to all those who serve and who have served our Nation.

I have the most adorable 7-month-old fluffy white Maltese, but sadly I can't keep her at my current apartment. She is cheerful, playful and sweet as can be.
