Dear JABBERS:
I am fortunate to be part of a wonderful book group that has been meeting for about seven years. Over time, our children have grown  older, our lives have grown busier, and where once our conversations were peppered with stories and complaints about school and homework, now we tend toward more weighty subjects. Sometimes we finish the books, and sometimes we just get together for fun and forget the book. We now freely admit we are there for the cheese and beverages, and friendship.
In fact, I was with that same group of friends exactly three years ago, when one friend said to me, "I have a friend name Boo from Miami, and she is starting this newsletter, and you have to sign up!"
Wherever you are in life, I hope you find the time for fun, and more importantly, for friendship. Because you never know where that path will lead you!
