Let Them Eat Cake
From Barbara Bustamante: Reply
I have my son's birthday coming soon and have been on the hunt for the yummiest cake and/or cupcake ever, and I haven't found it. Do you know of someone or such a place? I prefer them to be moist (for some reason most places have dry cupcakes) and a nice, fluffy buttercream. Thanks so much in advance.
Do You Know A Good OT?
From Anonymous: Reply
I am looking for an occupational therapist for my 4 year old daughter. I believe she has sensory processing issues and I would like to get her evaluated. I am looking for someone in the Weston or West Broward area. I would appreciate recommendations! Thank you!

Part Time Driver, Helper Needed From Andy Degen: Reply My dad is coming back to South Florida from NY after an operation. He is 80 and needs some help.We are looking for an aide that drives to either live in, or one to work part time a few hours a day. An English speaker would be ideal. The location will be either Plantation or Tamarac. If anyone knows of someone or has feedback on the cost of part-time vs. live in, please reply above. Thank you.
Packing It Up

Have you worked for a nationwide moving company doing professional packing (not furniture)? I'm relocating and I need help with packing. Please call Nilsa at 305-648-9730.
Practice Makes Perfect
From Courtney Stanford: Reply
Help! My son will be a Junior next year, and my mail box is full of fliers from SAT prep companies. I know there are different styles that work for different students, as well as costs to be considered. Can anyone recommend a good SAT prep company? Thank you.
Swing High
From Carrie Perez: Reply
I am looking for a small slide/swing combo. Ideally I want one that looks like below. We have a narrow green space behind our guest house and I want to get the kids something, but the two-swing combos are just too big. I tried to find a new version of the set pictured here, but they don't make it anymore. Anyway, if you see anything in your neighborhoods, keep us in mind and reply above. Thanks!

Got Stuff?
Despite our greatest efforts to truly relax this summer, the chaos at home can often loom over us like a dark cloud. The thought of organizing our closets can make our heads spin. Where to begin? We sought the help of Organizational Expert, Barb Forgach, who gave us the following guidelines: Top 5 Steps to Organize Your Closet
- Purge! This is the most important step of all. Doesn't fit, out of style, haven't worn it in years - donate it!
- Buy the right products: slim hangers, bins for loose items, boot hangers.
- Every item in your closet (and home if you are tackling bigger projects) should have a "home."
- Pick an Organizational Strategy. Color, Work/Play, Seasons - pick what works best for you and stick to it.Hang, Fold & Bins. Hang as much as you can. Fold as little as possible. If you have floor space keep bins there for those items. This tip reduces clutter and makes clean up faster and easier.
- 5 minutes. Spend 5 minutes every day keeping your closet system looking lean and mean. It is easier to tackle a small clean up than a huge project.
*Repeat Step 1 every 3-6 months!
If the thought of purging perfectly good items offends your sensibilities, fear not. Here's what you can do: Contact us here at JustAskBoo. We offer great rates on classified ads for those of you looking to profit from your purging. For those of you looking to consign those never worn baby clothes or to donate-we can help you find just the right place: Just send an e-mail with your request to courtney@justaskboo.com. *Thanks to JAB NYC Editor Victoria Assa for this great article.

What is JustAskBoo? JustAskBoo is an easy, fun and free way of helping you connect with your friends and theirs, in order to share information: resources, recommendations, referrals, advice, help and more. They also use it to spread the word about special events, advertise their businesses and improve their communities. It works kind of like a community bulletin in the form of an e-newsletter. It is safe, easy to use, no-nonsense, and family-friendly.
Once a week you will receive a JustAskBoo email with postings on it. Most of these postings are FREE, and are from people looking to YOU to help them find things they need.
Are you looking for something specific but don't know how to find it? A handyman? A lamp repair shop? A personal trainer or caterer or piano teacher? Wondering where you can buy a new swingset? JAB it! Simply email me at courtney@justaskboo.com , I'll post your request on the next newsletter, and other readers will respond directly to you. That's it. No strings, no drama. All I ask is that you help me spread the word. Let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to helping you.
