New Ban on Drop-Side Cribs...And What This Means For JAB

Last week, new standards regarding drop-side cribs went into effect. The Consumer Product Safety Commission's guidelines ban the manufacture, sale or resale of drop-side cribs and require safer crib designs. Hotels, motels and child care centers also must replace all drop-side cribs. What does this mean for our JABBERS? If you want to sell your crib on JustAskBoo, you still can - it just cannot be a drop-side model. We urge you to visit www.cpsc.gov to check if your drop-side crib has been recalled. If it hasn't, CPSC says to stop using the drop side and check for broken or missing parts. See the guidelines here.

I live in East Fort Lauderdale and have a 15-month-old daughter and a baby boy on the way.  I'm looking for someone who can primarily help me with the care of my children, as well as do some light housekeeping and laundry.  I'm flexible with respect to schedule, and would consider either part-time or full-time help, anywhere from 3 to 5 days per week.  I would love someone who speaks Spanish, and in fact, no English is necessary, but the person must have their own transportation.
