Hello Everyone
It's SPRING - the season of planting, growth and renewal. I love this time of year when the earth awakens from winter's slumber. Spring allows me the pleasure of gardening. Like many of you, I too experience seasonal allergies and being in my garden under oak trees can flair them up. The great news is that I have been able to reduce my symptoms significantly by using whole food supplements (see below for a list). Wade and I've experienced the benefits of the supplements and truly believe in them, that's why we carry them at our office.
Here at the Center, we believe that given the proper nutrition, your body has the amazing capability of keeping itself healthy. Talk to me about developing a nutritional program that meets your personal needs. Below are events for March and we hope that you will take advantage of the opportunities. We look forward to seeing you.
Sincerely,
Dr. Kim

The Big C- Caffeine The pros and cons of caffeine have been around since the dawn of time. In many circles caffeine is thought to create more energy and alertness along with asthma relief and improved mood. While in other circles caffeine is believed to be responsible for blood sugar swings, gastrointestinal distress and nutritional deficiencies. Despite varying opinions on the effects of caffeine one thing is certain, it is a drug that puts stress on your adrenal glands and on your nervous system. It may feel like it is giving you energy but, in actuality, it is taking energy from your body by tapping out your adrenal glands. Our adrenals are responsible for maintaining our stress levels. When the adrenals are stressed out we burn out. Not that long ago people took weekends to recharge physically and emotionally. Today caffeine is often our go to source. This weekend try something different. Replace that cup of coffee with a cup of green or herbal tea, take a deep breath, relax and give your adrenals a break.
