Are Slow Cookers Safe?

Animal Trackers (Madison)

Opening the front door on a cold winter evening and being greeted by the inviting smells of beef stew or chicken noodle soup wafting from a slow cooker can be a diner's dream come true.

But are slow cookers really safe? Find out!
Greetings!

The excitement and flurry of activity surrounding the holidays is over and you take a deep breath to relax. Winter continues to keep many people indoors, so you may be wondering what to do next.

Take the Smoke-Free Homes Pledge
Animal Trackers (Madison)

Every day, children in our communities are exposed to secondhand smoke in their own homes and vehicles.

To help educate parents and caregivers of young children about the risks of secondhand smoke, local partners, concerned citizens and students have joined the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) to launch a public education and awareness-building campaign on secondhand smoke.

We encourage you to take smoking outside. Don't smoke in your home or car where children are exposed to the dangers of secondhand smoke. Learn more on our web site

Our Mission Statement:
Dedicated to enhancing the health status of our communities through public health initiatives.
