The novel and the classroom
Professor John Noell Moore recently published a chapter in Engaging American Novels: Lessons from the Classroom, edited by Joseph O. Milner and Carol A. Pope. His chapter, "Transforming Interpretation: Literary Theory and the Novel in the Secondary Classroom," offers suggestions for interpreting the young adult novel The Outsiders from a number of theoretical perspectives.

Bridges across the P-16 continuum
Professor Pamela Eddy and co-author, Professor Marilyn Amey recently wrote a policy brief on the role of partnerships among schools, universities, and businesses. Though designed to save resources and create efficiencies, many fail or are not sustainable. The brief highlights a framework for making partnerships more successful.
