May 15, 2011 was truly a milestone for the School of Education as post-commencement ceremonies were celebrated in the fabulous new facility! SOE graduates, faculty, family and friends processed on the new path connecting William & Mary Hall to the new building for conferring of diplomas and awards. |

 Sara Miller, Ed.D. '10 named a finalist for Outstanding Dissertation AwardSara E. Miller, Ed.D. '10 has been selected as one of nine finalists in the Outstanding Dissertation of the Year Competition sponsored by the International Reading Association. Sara earned her Ed.D. in Educational Policy, Planning and Leadership. |

 Laura Bagbey '11 selected for VACTE award
Laura Bagbey '11 is the 2011 recipient of the Virginia Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (VACTE) Scholarship. This highly selective award has gone to W&M students for the third year. Laura was an English major and nominated by Prof. John Noell Moore. |
