2011 Award for ExcellenceSpring Awards ceremony recognizes leadership, scholarship and service

Xianxuan Xu and Courtney Holmes (pictured with Associate Dean, Tom Ward, center) received the doctoral Dean's Award for Excellence at the Spring Awards ceremony April 29. The School has 28 endowments valued at just over $6M and generating $270K in revenue, 22 of which are designated for student scholarships.

Bunny AkersBunny Akers MA.Ed. '74, M.Ed. '06 named for Clinical Partnership Award

Esther (Bunny) Akers was named the 2011 recipient of the Clinical Partnership Award. This award honors a professional educator serving in the field and recognizes effective collaboration in and contributions to the preparation and development of education professionals.

Pam EddyProfessor Pam Eddy named for Plumeri Award 

Lauded as a "rising star in the field of Higher Education", Professor Pam Eddy is among the 20 exceptional William & Mary faculty members receiving prestigious Plumeri Awards for Faculty Excellence this year.

Kate Ottolini '11ATE-VA Award for Excellence in Student Teaching honors Kate Ottolini '11 

William & Mary senior Kate Ottolini '11 was recently honored by the Association for Teacher Educators - Virginia (ATE-VA) for research she conducted on preparing science and math teachers to reach diverse student populations.
