Teens Continue to Grow 
Leaders In Training (LIT) Whitney Green & Anthony Clark Whitney and Anthonycelebrated their completion of the GRIL U (Grand Rapids Initiative for Leaders) program last month.  As part of the LIT program at "The Other Way", Whitney and Anthony joined teens from around the city to become stronger Christ-like, cross-cultural, servant leaders.

 Reading
Summer Reading Program Update
Reading With over 35 volunteers and staff meeting one on one with kids to read each Tuesday, the Summer Reading and Mentoring program is off to a GREAT start!  A partnership with Sibley Elementary has given us access to curriculum and educational games that empower volunteers to work alongside kids and build reading skills and relationships this summer.

Praise 
Join us for "Garment of Praise" Friday, July 17
Join us on Friday, July 17 at 6:45 pm for the "Garment of Praise" Dance and Music Celebration at Servant's Church.  This night of praise will feature the youth of the TEAM program at "The Other DancerWay" and some of the most gifted performers in Grand Rapids, including:
  • Michael Essex and Vision
  • Ashley Nesby
  • Joe Stanitzek
  • Courtney Hatcher
  • Eric Tolbert
  • and more....
Suggested ticket donation is $5 each with all proceeds from the event supporting the Children's and Youth Ministry at "The Other Way"!
